I am a painter and printmaker based in York, having moved from Shetland where I lived for nine years. Living in Shetland inspired my use of mixed media including acrylic, oil and watercolour paint, chalk and oil pastels, pigment, glitter, mica and wax on canvas and paper to picture the big skies, dramatic horizons, peat habitat, and sparkling mica beaches.
